# Custom Registration Fields?

 * Anyone know of a hack that lets you add custom registration fields? I am starting
   a paid-to-read blog and need to add some fields like Credit Card #’s and such.

   have the oppertunity of checking required field or not??

 * Well… you can hack it yourself, simply edit the file wp-register.php. I want 
   to add the field “phone number”: I think I’ll jsut add it to the db table ansd
   then put it in the wp-register.php page, so people will have to insert it upon
   registration…

 * I’ve searched high-and-low for this hack also ……
    It seems like such a fundamental
   functionality that so many could benefit from, I can’t understand why I can’t
   find anything.
