# Custom Required HTML

* Hello,
* I am testing out your form plugin and was wondering how I can set my Custom ‘
Required’ HTML. I’ve read the knowledge base but cannot see this setting. Is
this a pro feature?

* Thanks for your inquiry.
* This feature is included in the free version. To get to it, you click the gear
icon at the top right of the WS Form layout editor. This will take you to the
form settings. Then click on the ‘Advanced’ tab. You’ll find that setting at
the bottom of the advanced tab. It is called Custom ‘Required’ HTML. You can
then type in any text or HTML you would like added as the required indicator
as opposed to the standard ‘Required’ text.
* It is also possible to change the validation text that is shown if a field does
not validate when the form is submitted. To do that, click the gear icon on a
field, click the ‘Advanced’ tab and change the ‘Invalid Feedback Text’ setting.
