# "Custom Sidebars" Compatibility Issue?

 * We are currently migrating content from one server to another and I am trying
   to leverage Widget Settings Importer/Exporter to transfer sidebar/widget data
   to our new server’s WP installation.
 * We use “Custom Sidebars” ([http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/custom-sidebars](http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/custom-sidebars))
   to introduce/manage the long list of current sidebars implemented. [That plugin
   is installed, is active, and contains all the same registered widget areas.]
 * Export worked great — I saw all sidebars. I’ve also viewed the json file to make
   sure data was exported and is not blank. However, when attempting to import, 
   I am only prompted with the following buttons: “Select All Active Widgets” and“
   Un-Select All Active Widgets” after clicking “Show Widget Settings”… Essentially
   displaying a blank list.
 * Currently:
    – Running PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.6 – allow_url_fopen = On (php.ini) [
   Which resolved a similar issue for someone else, no luck here though.]
 * Thoughts? Any knowledge on potential compatibility issues with “Custom Sidebars”
   plugin? Thanks!
