Custom theme trsansfer troubles

    Hi

    I followed Ian Stewarts guide to creating a wordpress theme as I had to transfer a static website to wordpress and I have been successful all apart from the navigation and its drop down. I was hoping that someone could let me know exaclty what I am doing wrong.

    Here is the original website : http://www.hotellameije.com/ (You can see the navigation that is required)

    Here is the website that I have created based on this website but has wordpress pages / navigation and 2 widgets on the left hand side : http://dansiop.co.uk/hlm/

    I just can not work out why the drop down navigation isn’t showing. I can not even get the down arrows to show that there are child pages.

    Any help would be really appreciated.
