# Custom widget

 * Is there an otpion to create own widget with few changes of The cutom post widget?
   What should I do? Create a new file in widget folder a then? I want to show excerpts
   in this widget, but I also want use this old one in some cases.

 * custom development isn’t anything that works through an option. If you’re familiar
   with coding, you would need to code a custom child theme and then code a custom
   version of the widget with your preferred modifications within the child theme.
 * In case you’re not familiar with coding, you could hire a developer or freelancer
   for custom development (e.g. through [Codeable](https://www.mhthemes.com/customizations/)).

 * Yes, I understand. I create a file with custom widget (I copy this from Your 
   old one and custom some lines), but how I register this widget or find it in 
   widgets offer?

 * As mentioned, you would need to code your own custom child theme or plugin and
   then register your new custom widget within the child theme or plugin. Please
   understand that we can’t assist with custom development.
