 * When uploading a custom WordPress block to the WordPress plugin marketplace,
do I need to upload just the source code and let WordPress generate the build
file, or should I include the pre-built build file myself?

 * You must upload the plugin as it can be used by a user. In the case of blocks,
you must therefore upload the fully compiled files. You can also include the
source files (as info for users who want to read it) or (better) make them available
   in a publicly accessible repository.
 * Tip: I always pack the ZIP in my development environment, test it in a fresh
WordPress installation and then upload the contents of the ZIP via SVN.
