Customise main button (save and close)

    Hi,

    When I set up the plug-in I wqs able to translate all buttons, including the save button in the privacy overview, but doing so I realise I labelled it “save and accept” (“enregistrer et accepter”) whilst it should be “save and close” (“enregistrer et fermer”) only, as the current version is confusing if you want to reject some cookies.
    I can’t find anymore this button in the admin tools, there’s only the [cookie_button] that does not seem to relate to the actual button used in this overview. Trying to add [cookie_button] in the overview itself, it does not seems to produce any action a nyway.

    Hi @atoutformation,

    Translation for the static buttons like “Save & Accept” are added directly via the plugin translations from WordPress which you can find here. If you want to alter this, you may please download the corresponding PO files from the link and edit it via POEDIT application.

    Then save the PO and MO file generated by the application to your site FTP under /wp-content/languages/plugins/.

    Hello, i have a problem normally am using Loco translate plugin, and for your cookies plugin there is 100% translate to my slovak language, but also i cant find there save and accept button to change or check if the language is correct.. can you help please? 🙂

    The translation for the said button is loaded directly from WP translations. You can see it is added and waiting for moderator approval here.

    Refer to this post for instructions on how to add and get translations updated.
