# Customised Close Button

 * Hi there,
 * I’m using an html pop up that is fired through the “onload” event from this page:
   [https://activequilibre.ch/pagetest_popup_inscription/](https://activequilibre.ch/pagetest_popup_inscription/).
   The HTML just calls a Sendinblue plugin Form with the HTML code I mention here
   bellow.
 * I d’like to leave no other closing way than to press a custom button where I 
   could define the background color, caption, etc. (For now I left the [X] closing
   button on the top right of the popup, but I d’like to disable it as well).
 * I can’t find a way to make the custom close button work.
    (I search your forum
   and found this: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-close-button-3/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-close-button-3/))
   but still I can’t find a way… When I hit my close button, it responds that I 
   should write a correct e-mail adress, like if I did hit a Yes button… Am I missing
   a Class like you wrote to the other user? How can I add this class then?

 * Thank you for getting in touch with us.
 * We checked the case. See, the quotation marks (“”) are different than in the 
   rest of the code:
    <button class=“PopUpButton sg-popup-close”>Close</button>
 * It is visible when you check it with an editor.
    Please, delete the quotation
   marks in the mentioned area and then insert them again manually.
 * But if you wish the popup not to close in any way besides the button you’ve specified,
   it would be possible to achieve with the Advanced closing extension which is 
   a premium one. In case you wish to discuss this further, please, contact us via
   Live Chat since we cannot discuss the paid extensions here.

 * Gosh, that was soooo simple and I didn’t saw it! Just those little brackets where
   not the same as in the WP HTML editor…
