Customising Date and time

    Hi! Could you please help me? There are a few problems which I can’t seem to solve 🙂

    I changed the time modiefier in the general section of options and it shows me the correct time in the time formatting output. But when I see my post through the blog or through the manage section it shows a different time. How could that be fixed?

    Also, when I change the date and time format it shows the correct one in the output part but shows a totally different thing in the actual post. I changed the formating part of the template files, but shouldn’t it be possible to change the format just through the options panel?

    Yes, but only if the format is not being overridden in the template tag’s parameters. You’re going to have to look through the templates for your theme and make sure a format parameter for the_date() and the_time(), is not being provided. If it is, removing it, or setting it to '' (and empty value) will cause it to use the format set in WordPress.
