 * I’m running a very simple WordPress site where I have a few users who can post.
   I want to customize the admin layout for those users to include dashboard text
   explaining how to post and eliminate many of the header links. No plugins I have
   found let me do this (not even xDashboard). Anyone have a relatively simple workaround
   for a novice/intermediate user?
 * Thanks in advance!

 * If you upgrade to WP 2.x there are a lot of possibilities to define user “roles”–
   and the dashboard does not display menus/submenus for things that are not available
   for lower level users.
 * Otherwise I guess you’ll have to edit several files in the wp-admin folder.
