• Hi,

I’d like to customize the Inbound Messages columns in the backend. I know how to edit the column names, I need to know how to show the name of the sender instead of [your-subject], and email only instead of [your-name] <[your-email]>.

    Please help.

  • Yes, I would also like to change the [your-subject] column, because I don’t use that column on my form.

Would be good to know if there is a filter or something we could try?

    Cheers

    Update:

    Try reading the documentation 😉

@iamhere Thanks for the link but my issue was renaming the columns and changing the column data e.g. instead of Subject | [your-subject] the column would be Name | [your-name].

Agreed – it would be really helpful – we don’t use the default columns which makes the Inbound Messages list columns quite redundant.

    Subject | From | Channel | Date
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Careers 2018/11/07
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Referrals 2018/11/06
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Referrals 2018/10/26
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Careers 2018/10/26
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Careers 2018/10/24
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / For Law Firms 2018/10/24
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Newsletter Subscription 2018/10/22
    [your-subject] [your-name] <[your-email]> Contact Form 7 / Newsletter Subscription 2018/10/18
