Customizer Doesn't Load, Crashes

Hi,

For some reason whenever I click to go to the customizer, it’s painfully slow to load and never becomes usable, so I can’t make any more changes to my site. I need to disable the image preload in the general settings.

Was it because I compressed images to try and improve the (very slow) page speed? I’ve tried disabling plugins but nothing is working.

After I deactivate plugins, I get this link when I click to go to the customizer:

Any ideas?
