# Customizing rss feed description

 * Hi. I plan to use RSS Aggregator to pull in feeds from other sites.
 * First, though, I am wondering if I can use it to customize the RSS feed from 
   my own site for MailChimp? Specifically, I want to control the layout of the 
   RSS feed in MailChimp. If I use your software to do this, then I can make all
   my feeds look consistent.
 * For example I want to customize the rss feed description, which MailChimp is 
   currently simply displaying as “Positive Living”, which is my site’s tagline,
   but is not descriptive of my blog (see image: [https://cl.ly/648f66aec499](https://cl.ly/648f66aec499))
 * I did not see this specifically mentioned in your documentation, but I could 
   have easily missed it.

   of the free core plugin.
