 * We just got this message from DHL:
 * “Changes to dutiable deliveries of DHL Paket International ¿ Important information
   for destination US
 * Dear Customers,
 * Over the last year, we have informed you on multiple occasions about the need
   to transmit complete customs data starting on January 1, 2021 and the consequences
   resulting from incomplete or missing data.
 * The United States Postal Service (USPS) has now informed us that data transfer
   requirements will be considered a basic requirement for all incoming shipments
   as of January. Specifically this means that, as of January 1, 2021, shipments
   without the mandatory customs data will be rejected and returned to sender at
   the sender¿s expense, if the data is not transmitted, not complete, incorrect
   or not on time. This also applies to postal mail exports from Germany.
 * To ensure prompt processing of exports to the USA, we reserve the right to identify
   and return to you any DHL Paket International shipments that fail to meet customs
   data requirements before they leave Germany. For now, we will not charge a return
   fee for these items. The original shipping fee will not be refunded. To re-send
   the items including transmission of all required fields, you must order a new
   shipment with its own ident code (IDC).
 * Therefore, if you create labels with software that is developed in-house or with
   software programmed by a third-party provider, you should ensure that all fields
   required by customs for DHL Paket International are transmitted shortly after
   creating the label. Please take into account that ¿End of day¿ processing must
   be completed before shipments are submitted and no later than 6 pm. When using
   DHL¿s own shipping logistics system ¿DHL Versenden¿, required fields will of
   course ensure that you have provided all necessary information so that items ¿
   assuming complete listing of parcel contents in accordance with the enclosed
   commercial invoice ¿ are not subject to rejection and return.
 * Please contact your sales representative or CIS consultant with any questions
   you might have.
 * Sincerely,
    Your DHL PARCEL team”

 * Yes, it should transfer all customs data correctly. The “Invoice Number” field
   has also been added to the DHL Create Label metabox form.
 * Let us know if you have any issues.
