Hi Emilia ( @anemi09 )
So the problem is that the the menu is missing from the front page: http://docmaja.de/ ?
I checked it’s page source and where you have the menu, your row is split into two columns, but on the front page, it doesn’t. It’s like the whole sidebar would be missing from your front page. Maybe your theme has a template option that wasn’t selected for the front page? Something like this: http://imgur.com/a/0RA3t
Or do you mean this border around the menu? http://imgur.com/a/mFr7e
It’s coming from the sidebar container where your menu is, so it’s a theme related setting. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with your theme, so I can’t tell where to set it.
Hi, no, I actually mean that I added another page called “Lebensmittel Infos”, it is under “Nutrition” but on the sidebar it does not have a hyphen (-) (sorry I wrote dash earlier..) in front of the word “Lebensmittel Infos” as it does in front of all the secondary menu pages.
So the menu is as follows:
– Nutrition
Lebensmittel Infos
– Ernaehrungsplaene
And so on.
It should be -Lebensmittel Infos like on all other secondary menu points.
And I don’t know what I did wrong when I added this page later.
thank you for your help!!! emilia

Hi @anemi09
Ah, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. I understood the problem now.
It doesn’t have hyphen (-) because it doesn’t have submenus, like “Ernährungspläne” and “Rezepte” and only the menupoints which have submenus get the option to be closed or opened. (So if you remove these options:
Ernährungsplan Baby
Ernährungsplan Kinder
Ernährungsplan Erwachsene
from “Ernährungspläne”, then it won’t have the hypen as it doesn’t have menu points so you can’t open it.
So actually that hypen is a minus icon which transforms into a plus (+) sign when the menu is closed. Like this: http://imgur.com/a/d1YY8
I made you a gif, maybe it makes it easier to understand how the minus and plus signs are working: http://imgur.com/a/d1YY8
If your “Lebensmittel Infos” menu does have submenus, maybe they’re not selected, so you should go back to the menu configuration, to the Type – WordPress: Configure http://accordion-menu.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1024-wordpress-specific-settings
and select its submenus.
OMG :-))) I am so sorry, of course, I see it with all the other sub menus that don’t have further sub menu points now :-))
So sorry about this!! And thanks for your help!
