 * I have not been to my dashboard lately, but when I do now it seems to be completely
empty. None of the links on the left column are working…
    see: [http://stylingbar.com/images/screenshot.png](http://stylingbar.com/images/screenshot.png)
 * However, the site is working…

 * Can’t see which WP version I am using.
 * Does someone have any suggestions how to resolve this?

 * Looks like you are running WordPress 3.3.2.
 * [http://www.stylingbar.com/wordpress/readme.html](http://www.stylingbar.com/wordpress/readme.html)
 * Which is pretty dated, the current version is 4.0.
 * When I visit your site via [http://www.stylingbar.com/wordpress/](http://www.stylingbar.com/wordpress/)
I get a content encoding error which is odd.
 * Do you have a complete file and database backup?

 * If you can get those backups made then you may want to rename `wp-content/plugins`
to `wp-content/plugins-old` (do not delete anything). If it’s a plugin issue
then that may sort it out and let you into the dashboard.

 * Thank you for the fast reply!
 * I do have a complete file and database backup.
It has been backed up on a daily
basis, not sure which backup (date) I should use…

 * Try renaming the plugins folder first then revisit your WordPress dashboard.
If that works then it’s likely something in your plugins directory that’s causing
   the issue.
 * If it doesn’t then reply back here too and there may be more things to try.
