# Dashboard Missing

 * I have no html or ftp experience and am confused about how to solve this issue
   when looking through the support forum.
    When I log into my dashboard it is not
   showing any links to pages, appearance etc. on the left hand side. I have tried
   to download the new version of 3.8.1 but have no clue what I am supposed to do
   to overwrite the previous version. Please can someone recommend how I address
   these issues. I am using wordpress as a website not a blog and the address is
   [http://www.nelsonbaycatholicchurch.com](http://www.nelsonbaycatholicchurch.com).
