 * My posts are in one section of my website (a very old design built by an old
friend), and my projects for my portfolio are in another.
 * My Dashboard shows both Posts and Projects (as a pinned icon), but If I change
my these, Projects disappears. I also have archival posts and projects
 * Can I make all my Projects into Posts? In order for me to see them in a dfferent
   theme?
 * My php is old, I can’t update anything and I’m at the point where I want to delete
my website address and just have the wordpress as a blog

 * Without a link to your site, it’s difficult to help you.
 * What initially confuses me is probably the spelling mistake here:
 * > but If I change my these
 * Do you possibly mean “theme” with the last word? Because a new theme also brings
with it a completely new arrangement of content. I suspect your current theme
provides the post type “Project.” No other theme knows this, so this content
   then disappears.
 * If I understand correctly, you have two different post types: posts and projects.
Your goal is now to integrate projects into the posts so that everything is displayed
   together. Is that correct?
 * If so, it would be possible to convert post types. This could be done with this
   plugin, for example: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-transfer/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-transfer/)
 * You mention that your PHP is very old. I am therefore unsure whether such a plugin
would help you, as many now require current PHP versions. If you do decide to
try it, be sure to **create a backup first.**
 * And, of course, you should also make sure you have a current hosting environment.
Contact your host’s support team to clarify this.
