 * Hi,
 * I’ve been using WordPress for a while now, but have recently started a new blog.
   For some reason, the post page looks different on my new site (more resembles
   wordpress.com??) than my old ⌊Add new post screens look different⌉. Why is this
   and can it be changed?

 * The top image is almost entirely the default WordPress editor, with an Add Contact
   Form button added in, probably by Jetpack.
 * The second image appears to have a few more buttons added by other plugins that
   I don’t recognize.
 * The font difference is more likely the theme’s editor style. Some themes ship
   with a style that helps content in the editor look more like what it will on
   the site when published.

 * [@macmanx](https://wordpress.org/support/users/macmanx/): I also want to add
   that the text doesn’t break into the next line somewhere in the middle of the
   screen with the layout in the bottom image. Is this, again, a theme thing?
 * Thanks!

 * Yes, if it’s breaking before the line reaches the end of the editor window, that’s
   the theme’s editor style constraining what you write to the width of the theme.
 * The whole idea behind editor styles is that they do their best to match what
   you see in the editor to what you will see in the published post.
