 * On top of every page of my site has the following words:
 * Couldn’t connect to database server.Couldn’t find database jimbob_jc.An unexpected
   problem has occured with the application.
    SELECT statscurl_id FROM `statscurl`
   WHERE statscurl_ip = ”;
 * Can anyone help me on how to fix this problem. Thanks.

 * I would export posts/pages, scan that file for malware, and rebuild site from
   scratch…THEN:
 * I would backup my files and db **often** – files are backed up after update to
   WP, update to plugins, or update to theme : _site updates_…the db needs to be
   backed up so that _site content_ and _settings_ are not lost.
 * If a site is hacked or some issue arises, restoring a site from a backup can 
   be quite easy, fixing a hacked site not so much so…
 * Use strong passwords! having your domain blacklisted or otherwise known to contain
   malware will lead that domain to be blocked by varying tools that web users rely
   on.

 * Doing a site rebuild to new is the last resort.
 * Does anyone have any other solutions to this?
 * If I can’t get rid of the malware I’d do a total rebuild but if I can solve it
   before hand that would be better.

 * It would take less time than the very many posts over much time here for your
   site, not to mention (yes, we should mention them!) all the site visitors now
   expanding your site’s malware.

 * I’m currently using anti malware plugin to erase all the malware code.

 * I just fixed my site that was displaying the same error code. The error code 
   was because of my update-notifier.php.
    I simply overwrote it with the original
   rar file I had downloaded and it cleared it up.

 * The anti malware plugin was able to detect all the malware code in my site. The
   error code is gone now.
