# Data lost when submit

 * Greetings,
 * I used this plugin an application process. It worked well except a few circumstances
   in which individuals clicked “submit” or “save” and lost all data. The updating
   of their record did not work and no updates were registered.
 * I could not recreate this problem myself and wonder if it has to do with user
   error, browser type, browser settings. But before I launch year two of this process,
   I want to be clear about the variables that could lead to data missing.

 * It’s notoriously difficult to debug based on user reports because there is no
   way to know exactly what a user has done. If the person is a co-worker or someone
   you can watch while they update their record, you may learn what they did.
 * I’d say, test it yourself, try to make it malfunction, and perhaps you’ll be 
   able to recreate the conditions the let to the problem.
 * I would be interested to know what you learn.
