# Data migration

   Is there a way to migrate (export/import) datas from one site to another?
 * I saw the export add-on but not sure it answer the question.

 * Thank you for reaching out! I’m afraid that we currently don’t offer any data
   migration tools.
 * The export add-on will not help you in this case. The add-on is intended for 
   CSV data export, data that you can use in other applications.
 * For exporting data from site to site, I recommend using a migration plugin, such
   as WP Migrate ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/)),
   or the migration features of your hosting platform.
 * I recommend you to move all SliceWP related tables (which are prefixed with “
   slicewp_”) and also all options from WordPress’ “wp_options” table, that are 
   prefixed with “slicewp_”.
 * Furthermore, affiliate accounts are tied to user accounts. So, to have parity
   between datasets, you will also need to migrate WordPress’ “wp_users” table.
