 * Hello,
 * I have 2 forms with 2 lists for 2 events. If the same fields are present in both
   forms, but different information is entered, the mail address record is updated.
   In the context newsletter this makes sense. For event registrations less. We
   like using MailPoet because the double opt-in solution works very well. Is there
   a workaround?
 * Thanks and best regards
    Heather

 * Hi Heather,
 * Can you please confirm you’re referring to MailPoet subscription forms?
 * Or are you using a third-party form plugin?

 * Yes, referring to MailPoet Plugin.

 * Hi Heather,
 * When using the MailPoet subscription form, we do not allow a user to update their
   subscriber’s profile by subscribing again.
 * The only way they can do that is by accessing the Manage Your Subscription page
   and changing their information there.
 * So if a subscriber subscribes to two different forms, and two different Lists,
   using the same email address and different information on each form, only the
   one filled for the first subscription form will be taken into account.
 * Maybe that’s not ideal for Events registration, but keep in mind that MailPoet
   is a newsletter plugin. If you want to receive different contacts from your readers,
   you should use a contact form for the Events registration instead.
 * Contact Form 7, for example, is compatible with MailPoet 3.
