# DATA-REPLACE ERROR in ‘Yoast’ Table

 * Hi,
    after installing my server-dump on localhost there is the following issue
   in section **Search and Replace Notices**:
 *     ```
       Report DATA-REPLACE ERRORS: 
       MySQL  Data too long for column 'url' at row 1 	
        TABLE:wp_yoast_seo_links WHERE: <code>id</code> = "5390" 
       ```
   
 * Important to know:
    I had **uninstalled** the pugin ‘Yoast’ on the server and
   had not installed it locally. It is therefore not tragic that there is an error
   here. I would just like to understand the background to prevent future errors
   of this kind. The many times before, there had actually never been such an error
   and I also thought that Yoast saves data in such a way that it is not “too long”,
   as mentioned in the error message.

 * The “Data too long for column” error occurs when you insert more data for a column
   that does not have the capability to store that data. It’s possible with the 
   updated data on the new URL that it creates data too long as it replaces the 
   old URL with the new URL of your new website. If the issue persists you might
   want to work with the Yoast team to find out why the length of that column is
   too small.
 * If you have uninstalled the plugin it’s possible you may also need to remove 
   the Yoast tables manually. Once the tables are gone from the database, this issue
   should go away.
