    Hi,

I recently updated Koko Analytics to the latest version, 1.7.0. For three days straight, the analytics show 0 traffic coming to the site, which is unusual. I have checked the Google Search Console data, and traffic is coming to the site as usual, with no sudden drops in clicks.

FYI, I migrated the site to a new host in December last year.

If this has something to do with the recent migration, what do I need to check with my host?

    Hi @ziddy,

Are there any errors (related to Koko Analytics) in your PHP error log by any chance?

No, I have checked the error log and there was no errors.

For your information, before I posted this topic, I installed Matomo Analytics plugin. The plugin detected that my site has enabled zlib.output_compression. It required me to disable them. I went to disable the option in my cPanel.

A day later, Koko Analytics worked again and showed traffic data, but there were slight differences when I compared the clicks from GSC and Koko’s data.

I just want to let you know that I compared Koko’s and Matomo’s traffic data. They are similar. But now Matomo is showing a Cron error that says, “Matomo Cron Error: An error occurred during Matomo archiving.” In the diagnostic system report, it says “Error Last Successful Archiving Completion: error. The plugin is still working, but the traffic data may not be fully accurate.

    Hi @ziddy,

Slight differences between analytics tools are to be expected, because of the way that each plugin or software package performs it counts.

Let me know in case the issue with Koko Analytics persists or resurfaces please.
