Database acccess to non wp databases

    I have installed the WP DATA ACCESS plugin on a personal server and on a hosted server. I have successfully tested it on my personal server but when attempting to access databases from the same server as the wp database I do not see any other databases than the wp one. This did not occur on my personal server. What might I be doing wrong.

    Hi @joemcl602,

    Are these local databases? Or remote? If they are local databases, do you have the necessary privileges to access them?

    Please check if you have the SHOW DATABASE privilege on the plugin setting page (System Info tab) and let me know…

    Hi Peter
    I did discover that it was a privilege issue. When working on my local system I have root by default. Once I gave the database in questing the correct user privs all was well.
