# Database emoji export problems

 * When creating a package with duplicato I have problems with some (but not all)
   emojis that are on pages of my site. For example the string “🤓🕹⚓” results in“??
   ⚓”. I checked the sql file in the zip and it already has the problem there. 
   When I do a quick export (UTF8) with phpmyadmin I don’t have this problem.
 * Any idea how I can solve this?
    I’m currently running the site locally through
   XAMPP: General OS: WINNT Server: Apache/2.4.38 (Win64) OpenSSL/1.1.1b PHP/7.3.3
 * PHP
    v7.3.3 GD: bundled (2.1.0 compatible) Magic Quotes GPC: Off Memory Limit:
   1,024.0 MiB Max Upload Size: 1,024.0 MiB
 * MYSQL
    v10.1.38-MariaDB Maximum No. Connections: 151 Maximum Packet Size: 1,024.0

 * Hi Cory,
 * thanks for the reply. I knew of the FAQ site before and did try to solve it with
   the suggested methods, sadly without any success. I sent you a ticket linked 
   to this thread and with a simple reproduction to show that the problem occurs
   with a fresh standard installation of wp. I hope that helps in nailing down the
   problem. If you need any other information, please let me know.
