 * A client of mine is asking if his WordPress database is encrypted – I believe
   that by default WordPress’ database isn’t encrypted, save for the user passwords.
 * But I don’t know all that much about databases, encryption, etc.
 * Any info on this would be much appreciated.

 * databases are not encrypted.
 * tables within databases are not encrypted.
 * content within tables within databases are not encrypted — except for passwords
   which are md5 hashed.
