# Database error – loading a post

 * Hi! I have a problem with plugin. Today I wanted to add a next slide – latest
   post – but there is a little window in upper right corner with a text “Database
   error”. I’m adding it as usual, have only one slider (front page) with constant
   number of posts. I deactivated and activated plugin, it didn’t work. How to fix
   it?

 * Does your post or the content you want to add, have special characters in it?
   As you see in this documentation:

   this issue mostly comes up at Youtube videos, that 4 byte characters are used
   and databases are only able to store 3 bytes by default. You would see a “Database
   error” message in this case. But if your situation is different, there could 
   be some other database related error, like your host changed how much access 
   your database user has. Can you create a new slider and just one image slide 
   in that?
