# Database error since upgrade

 * Since upgrading to 2.1 I get an error message that says
 * “WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual
   that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near‘
   GROUP BY year(post_date), month(post_date), dayofmonth(post_date)’ at line 1]
   
   SELECT DISTINCT post_date FROM GROUP BY year(post_date), month(post_date), dayofmonth(
   post_date)”
 * Don’t know where the date is specified or how to fix…
    thanks for any help!

 * It comes up when I launch the site and the error message says there’s sql error
   line 1. Did the post_date tag change?
