# database errors

 * Had an error connecting to database. Ran repair. The site is up and running again
   but the following issues could not be resolved by repair. It recommended posting
   to forum.
 * wp_comments: 3 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    wp_options:
   Table is marked as crashed wp_commentmeta: 3 clients are using or haven’t closed
   the table properly
 * I am not a web professional but have good understanding. Can anyone give me some
   insight on how to approach these? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.
   I will begin upgrade to most current release anyway.

 * do you have a good backup of your database from prior to this issue? Yes? you
   may want to restore to it.
 * alternately, ask you host if they have a backup of your site from prior to this
   issue? Yes? you may want to ask them to restore.

 * Unfortunately, I backed up the repaired site with these errors. I will pursue
   host’s backup to see what they have. Thank you!
 * I am still hoping that there is a file that I can repair or replace, some code
   that can be troubleshooted, etc.

 * They should regularly be backing up sites. If they don’t, time to find a better
   host
