DataBase errors

    Can anyone tell me why I would be getting a Db error when I click on my links. I tried all the activating and .htaccess tips but nothing is working. Here is the error I am seeing:

    Database error: connect(localhost, brianmc9_w42day, $Password) failed.
    MySQL Error: ()
    Session halted.

    Has to do with my password but I can find anything in Affiliate links about a password for my DB.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Brian,

    Doesn’t seem to be something that is related to our plugin, we don’t do any database connection or anything like that during link redirection.

    I would check your site for malware using something like Wordfence and double check the rest of your site to ensure things are operating normally.

    You could also try re-installing ThirstyAffiliates.

    Other than that, try disabling all other plugins, switch to one of the default themes like TwentyFifteen and see if the problem goes away. Then re-activate one by one till the problem reappears.

    Hope some of this might help narrow down the issue!

    Hey Josh,

    Deactivated and deleted but it still did the same thing. When I deleted it thought and re-installed it it gave me my orginal links back. Anyway to a fresh copy?

    Never mind… just looked at the compatibility chart and I am 4.3 which is not tested yet. looks like there is may an issue there for 4.3. Unless you people that are using WP 4.3.
