# database errors after upgrade

 * ok, i’m not too intelligent when it comes to code, but my host alerted users 
   to the security issues with wordpress, so i upgraded, but now im getting all 
   sorts of wonky database errors. theyre all over my dashboard, and when i try 
   to post also. heres what it says when i post:

 * the dashboard notices are essentially the same with “unknown column” stuff
 * i followed some advice i found on a previous thread which suggested that maybe
   during upload, some files were dropped, but i just went through everything and
   it looks ok, but i redid everything just to be sure and im still getting the 
   messages. am i dumb or is something up?
 * thanks alot, and if you need some more specific info, let me know, as im relatively
   clueless when it comes to this stuff.
