# Database far too big and debug error

 * Hello. Our ecommerce site has been having a serious issue. Upon investigation,
   our database shows as larger than our storage (1544 of 1000 MB used) but when
   we log into phpMyAdmin the table size does not equal our storage size (tables
   equal 55.7 MiB in total). We’ve switched on debug and this error appears:
 * WordPress database error: [INSERT command denied to user for table ‘WBsoptions’]
   INSERT INTO `WBsoptions` (`option_name`, `option_value`, `autoload`) VALUES (‘
   _transient_doing_cron’, ‘1596012571.2484920024871826171875’, ‘yes’) ON DUPLICATE
   KEY UPDATE `option_name` = VALUES(`option_name`), `option_value` = VALUES(`option_value`),`
   autoload` = VALUES(`autoload`)
 * Please can anyone point us in the right direction? We’ve contacted our host Ionos
   1&1 5 times and each time the Advisor is unable to help in any way. They just
   want to sell us more storage. But its a small site and should be fine within 
   the standard hosting package. Something is really wrong as we can’t leave the
   debug.log facility switched on as it quickly becomes enormous and too big to 
   download.

 * Error indicates that writing data in database is impossible – size restriction.
 * I guess that table size is not all there is. I would assume that there are some
   cache files etc. making db faster.
 * I would try to delete unnecessary data like old transactions. Also you can try
   some plugin for db optimization (I sometimes use WP optimize).

 * Thank you for your reply. We’re trying to find a database expert who can clear
   out the database for us as we cannot login yet to use a plugin. Our host has 
   blocked us 🙁
