Title: Database import error Last modified: August 21, 2016 --- # Database import error * [blightspeed](https://wordpress.org/support/users/blightspeed/) * (@blightspeed) * [12 years, 6 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/database-import-error-1/) * Im new in wordpress and i created a website through localhost using xampp. * at first it looks good and i didnot see any problem while the configuration and putting of contents in the site. * When i try to back-up the site and transfered to other computer using the same version of xampp and wordpress, i cannot transfer the database exported from the source computer. the error goes like this when i try to import the database. * > No data was received to import.
