# Database issue

 * Hi there, I’m not sure what happened, but I’ve narrowed my issue down to the 
   database.
 * Problem: When I make an edit to the snippet section, Squirrly adds a new entry
   to the database rather than updating the current entry for the page or product.
   
   I am not sure how I managed to make this glitch happen so I’m not entirely sure
   how to undo it.
 * Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!

 * Thank you for reaching out! This seems to be a compatibility issue. It can happen
   if Squirrly doesn’t receive the correct data about the current post or page when
   you make edits.
 * To help narrow this down, could you please try reproducing the issue on a staging(
   test) version of your website, with only your theme and the Squirrly plugin active?
   This will help us confirm whether another plugin or setting might be causing 
   the conflict.
 * Once you’ve tested that, let us know what you find and we’ll guide you from there.
