# Database message

 * When I attempt the migration I get the following message – “Error! The destination
   database could not be validated. Please check the destination WordPress and retry.”
 * How do I resolve this error message? I use Filezilla for FTP. Copied the settings
   and verified the directory path with my hosting service which is 1and1 for the
   destination. Source host is GoDaddy.

 * We checked the logs and found out that the error occurred because we were not
   able to find WordPress installed and configured on the path you mentioned.
 * The path you need to enter is the relative FTP folder path and not the absolute
   path.
