# Database migration

 * Hello there,
 * I’ll need to transfer and save for a migration the woocommerce database. For 
   the details : I’ve developp a new version of a e-commerce website wich keep selling
   during the development of the new version. But now this new version of this website
   is finished, if I put this one online I will apparently loose all the sells and
   invoice information. So I need to save this database, put online the new website,
   and import the woocommerce database. Do anyone know a tutorial for this ? Thanks
   in advance.

 * I understand you will need to **export/import the database **from one site to
   another. You can do it via plugins.
    - To help you with the migration, we recommend doing it via [WP DB Migrate](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/).
      It is able to handle all aspects of import/export from the site’s database,
