I love the plugin, but every time I run the database optimization, all the UTF8 conversions done by the plugin UTF-8 Database Converter get reversed.

Is there any fix?

The plugin basically runs OPTIMIZE TABLE http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/optimize-table.html and nothing else. So if it causes a problem with UTF-8 Database Converter, it is likely issue with that plugin
