# Database Prefix

 * I don’t use any prefix for ostTicket. I just delete and let the database prefix
   in the config empty but after save it and refresh the config I see it still have“
   ost_” as prefix saved.
    How I can empty this field?

 * When you go through the osticket install, you have to set a prefix value in the
   MySQL configuration part of the osticket setup. The setup **requires** you to
   set a prefix, whether it is the default (ost_) or something else that you might
   have set.
 * If you don’t remember what you made the prefix, you will need to go into the 
   MySQL database to see what the prefix got set to.

    I’m sorry, what do you mean send you the plugin for osticket? Sounds
   like you already have the plugin installed if you’re stuck in offline mode.
 * One of the causes for being stuck in offline mode is the plugin isn’t connected
   correctly to your MySQL database which holds your tables for your osticket install.

   install their software?

 * Hello,
 * Make sure that:
    [http://sautopilot.west-bay.org/osTicket/upload/setup/install.php](http://sautopilot.west-bay.org/osTicket/upload/setup/install.php)
 * is fully installed and configured (including it’s db, preferably a custom Prefix
   for a bit of added security).
 * Once osTicket is fully functional you need to configure the plugin with osTicket
   database settings you filled in at the above links.
 * Our Plugin uses alot of osTicket settings (email, departments, etc)
 * once its all setup it can go into online/offline mode, and you can continue with
   email templates.

 * I am not sure the installation completed.
 * After imputing all configuration at Setup/install.php
    the next thing i got was
   a blank page.
