# Database Problem?

 * I recently noticed that a site I’m working on is intolerably slow, not when a
   visitor is looking at it, but when we’re working on it.
 * I wrote my hosting service to see if there was some kind of problem. This is 
   what he wrote back:

   reason why WordPress is slow…

   the forum to see if anyone could explain to me if this could be the reason for
   the slowness, what might be going on, and how I might be able to fix it.
