# Database problem? New WP2 version problem?

 * My site doesn’t seem to be connecting. It’s intermittent, I’ve contacted my host
   and they don’t seem to see the problem.
 * I don’t know if it’s a database disconnection or WTF is going on but it was fine
   2 hours ago and now it only shows me the header of the page and then the date
   and some html after the date. This same problem happened a few days ago.
 * I’ve got plugins that are, according to this site, compatible with WP2, and it
   worked earlier so I don’t know what’s going on now, but my host says it’s not
   a problem they can replicate on their end and I have the problem using both browsers–
   not showing the posts, or sidebar or footer.
 * Oh and I can’t even get into the control panel to look at stuff – but the last
   time I could, everything looked ok.
 * Can anyone help me with this?

 * If it’s intermittent then it’s almost definitely the host problem – your code
   does not change while their server environment does. And all hosts say it’s not
   their problem first time around.
    I would email them again pointing out that 
   if you can connect and then you cannot and you have changed nothing then it is
   their problem.

 * Thanks, Podz, it’s the same thing I’m thinking, I just don’t understand how they
   can say ‘everything’s showing up fine here’ and not be able to replicate the 
   problem.
 * I was able to get into the admin panel for a minute and I turned off a couple
   of plugins. When I turned off the CoppermineSC plugin everything started working
   again.
 * I don’t know if that’s a coincidence of time (the site was finally functional)
   or if it’s to do with that plugin connecting to another database. I’ll contact
   the creator and see what he thinks.
