# Database Problems

 * I realized this morning that my website has database errors. I did what WP advised
   me and tried to repair the database. Some database problems could not be repaired
   and here is the output.
 * wp_posts: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed
    wp_options: Table
   is marked as crashed and last repair failed
 * Anyone who could help me further? First time I occur these problems.

 * What actions did you take to repair the database? Did you use a plugin?
 * Do you keep backups? Did you make a backup prior to attempting repairs?

 * I Logged in to the wp-admin panel, which than displays the following text: One
   or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.
 * I clicked on the link bringing me to /wp-admin/maint/repair.php?referrer=is_blog_installed
   and hit ‘Repair Database’ which brings me here /wp-admin/maint/repair.php?repair
   =1
 * Thats where i received teh advice comign to this Forums.
 * Yes, I do have Backups.
