# Database Question

 * I have a separate database for a tournament league with a user table, log-in 
   capabilities, etc. It’s basically a site on it’s own.
 * My question is if I added it’s tables to the WordPress directory, what would 
   be the repercussions? Would it make it easier to pull data from this database?
 * I would not even classify myself as even a MySQL newbie, therefore, please understand
   the ignorance of my question if it’s way off base!
 * If there are alternative solutions out there, I would be most interested in that
   direction as well.
