# Database structure

 * Hi,
    i have wordpress installed many years ago and i’m regularly updating it.
   Now i saw that wordpress from new installation have completely different database
   structure. How do i update the structure for the older installation?

 * What exactly are you trying to do? If you’ve been regularly updating WordPress,
   the updater also updates the database, so there will be no changes in the structure
   that you will see, unless you’re writing your own queries to the database.
