# Database table not clearing

 * I used the method to clear the log as per my previous ticket [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/database-getting-large/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/database-getting-large/)
   
   But, this table in the database did not get any smaller wp_login_fails. How can
   we safely clear it?

 * Hi,
 * Each tab (Lockdowns and Failed Logins) have their own button to clear the log.
   If you press the Empty Failed Logins Log button as well it should clear the wp_login_fails
   🙂

 * Yay!!!!!! That worked. Thank you so much!!!! With all of these bad bot hits, 
   that log is really filling up. Thank you for a great way to put a deadlock on
   the front door
