# Database will not update

 * I am having the same issue as in this topic:

 * Ran db optimization, cleared all caches, same result. Click on Update now and
   nothing happens. Notice is still there.

 * What version of Give are you running currently?
 * Also, if you could provide your System Info here that would be helpful. You can
   find that in “Donations > Tools > System Info”.

 * Hmmm… Also, can you let me know whether you’re on a PC or Mac, and what browser
   you were working with? Did you see a popup appear asking you to confirm the upgrade
   process? It’s possible your browser is blocking that confirmation popup in one
   way or another.

 * Matt – that was it 🙂
    I was using Chrome on Win 10 and the popup did not appear.
   So I logged in on FF and the popup came up and it is now updated.
