 * Hi there.
 * I would like to use the free version. As far as I can see the currently used
   database is used here. Is only an extra entry created here or will the entire
   database be changed with several entries by WP Staging?
 * Will a single SQL database be recreated in the Pro version?
 * What about backups? I use BackWpup for my backups. Are the folders and the DB
   entries automatically excluded or does this have to be set?
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Hi Chigolo!
    Thanks for your questions!
 * First, WP Staging plugin will duplicate all your database tables with another
   table prefix like “wpstg0_”, so let’s say your database has the live site’s database
   tables starting with “wp_”, you will end up having two sets of database tables
   in your database (wp_ and wpstg0_), that’s totally fine and you don’t have to
   worry about that.
 * Yes, having a staging site with a separate database is a Pro feature.
 * The backup folders can be excluded during the cloning process as in this screenshot:

 * Let me know if you have any further question,
    Thanks.

 * Hi,
 * allright thx for the info.
 * Backup:
    Since the question was misunderstood, I meant whether I can exclude
   the database entries and the folder from BackWpup so that the staging page is
   not saved.
 * To the database:
    Will this be completely cleaned again during the deinstallation
   or will the entries from WP Staging remain and have to be deleted manually?
 * The free version would be sufficient for me, as I only want to use it to test
   new plugins and CSS changes, etc.
 * Thx in advance.

 * Sure, you can exclude the staging site’s files or database tables from the backup
   plugin, however, this is something to check with the backup plugin.
 * Yes, there is a button in the plugin from where you can delete the staging site(
   this will delete both files, and database tables):
