date, author, category

Hi. I’m using the Retina theme, and I am trying to remove the date, author, and category. I have read through some forums for other themes and people have been able to remove these items, but I am having difficulty removing them from my site. I got the date removed, but the calendar icon, author, and category are still there. Any ideas? Thanks.
