Date based access

The plugin is great and the client I am working with needs the IP and user name access as per your plugin.
They have a second requirement where they want to be able to grant access for a user for a set time. (i.e. for one year)
Is it possible to extend the plugin to accommodate this or can you confirm the easiest way to do this.
